Jesse Haecker, Global Business Manager for Planting, Spraying & Nurture Business with John Deere showcases the company's new planter performance upgrade, FurrowVision. This new technology will allow growers to see exactly what is happening in the furrow without having to get out of the cab. The sensor employs lights, lasers and cameras to display a live feed of the furrow's seed depth and alert the farmer when it is not meeting their specifications. While currently in the validation and testing stage of development, FurrowVision is planned for limited availability as a kit as soon as 2024.
