Watertown, Wis., no-tiller Tony Peirick has been adding conservation practices to his farm for many years now, having started no-tilling in 1994 and adding cover crops in 2004 as part of a local watershed project. He has since become a vocal advocate for soil health and in 2019 won the Conservation Farm Family of the Year award for the state of Wisconsin.
