BASF’s new Velondis brand biofungicide seed treatment formulations, designed to boost the protection of seedlings and plants from key soil-borne diseases, have received registrations from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the company says.
BASF HAS AGREED to acquire significant parts of Bayer’s seed and non-selective herbicide businesses for $7 billion, part of a move by Bayer to divest assets in anticipation of its acquisition of Monsanto.
