Dan Zinkand has joined the No-Till Farmer and Conservation Tillage Guide staff as managing editor, and will also serve as associate editor of Farm Equipment, publications produced by Lessiter Publications. Zinkand was a crops editor at Iowa Farmer Today for 10 years before working as a freelancer for several ag publications and as an international ag tour manager.
Darrell Bruggink, executive editor and publisher of No-Till Farmer and the Conservation Tillage Guide, says the addition of Zinkand in this newly created position is a sign of the continued growth of the publications and the importance the company places on maintaining the company’s high editorial standards.
“Dan is a highly respected, veteran farm writer. He will allow us to continue meeting our mission of providing information that helps farmers improve their no-till techniques,” Bruggink says. “With Dan on board, we’re also excited about the potential to launch new vehicles that will bring more valuable farming techniques and ideas to our unique audience.”

No-Till Farmer also plans and organizes the National No-Tillage Conference (www.NoTillConference.com), which will be held Jan. 13-16 in Des Moines, Iowa.
