Steve Groff's two-day cover-crop event has been moved back a week due to travel problems and power outages expected to come from Hurricane Sandy hitting the East Coast.

"The program will remain the same, only one week later," Groff says. "Some speakers will be changed but all planned topics will be covered. Please update your travel plans and hotel-stay dates accordingly."

The "Meeting Of The Minds" networking event will be from 7-9 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Willow Valley Double Tree Hotel.

The field day will be held Nov. 8 at the Cedar Meadow Farm from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
