No-Till Farmer editors encounter a variety of articles, social media posts, podcasts and videos that offer a unique look at the grower's world from the lofty digital realm. Here is our favorite content from the past week from across the web:

Talking Conservation Podcast Features No-Tiller Ed Hegland

Ed Hegland, who farms in western Minnesota, joins this episode of the Talking Conservation Podcast to highlight his conservation evolution, including strip-till, no-till and cover crops. Hegland is also part of the Farmers for Soil Health program.

No-Tillers Should Consider Including Pyrethroid Insecticide During Fungicide Application

In this Tweet from Howard Brown, who has more than 40 years of experience in the world of agriculture, he encourages growers to consider including a pyrethroid insecticide during fungicide applications because he observed several plants with significant corn leaf aphid populations in pollinating corn in the area just north of Bloomington, Ind.

The Nuts & Bolts of Farming Regeneratively

On a recent episode of the Back to the People Podcast with Nicole Shanahan, No-Till Innovator Rick Clark joins the show to discuss how he has developed and is constantly improving a systematic approach to regenerative farming in line with the goal of increasing profitability and long term sustainability. Rick says he is most proud of incorporating regenerative farming practices with all acres being certified organic. He calls it regenerative organic stewardship with no-tillage. He will suppress weeds and build soil health with cover crops and no-tillage. Rick also cares deeply about human health, as it is another important driver behind organic no-till farming.

Four Types of Compost for No-Till Systems

Many no-till systems rely heavily on compost, but not all compost is created equal and should not be used interchangeably. Some composts are better for mulching, fertilizing, inoculating, and general plant nutrition, great for all-around use. Misusing them can be an expensive mistake. This webinar covers each type of compost, how best to use them, and how to distinguish each when purchasing from a supplier or making it on-farm.

Are You Part of the Farming Fraternity?

In this YouTube Short, South Dakota grower Glen Rabenburg shares his perspective on the ongoing debate between tillage and no-till practices. He emphasizes the importance of unity within the farming community and reflects on his personal experience with no-till farming on 640 acres over 15 years.
