According to the latest USDA Crop Progress report, 87% of soybeans in the U.S. have been harvested, above the 71% harvested this time last week and the 83% 5 year average. Both Nebraska and North Dakota reported 100% of their soybeans harvested this week.
Some 82% of corn has been reported harvested, surpassing both the 49% of corn harvested in the same week last year and the 5 year average of 69%. North Carolina was in the lead with 97% of its corn harvested.
Some 52% of cotton was reported harvested in the most recent report, along with 82% of sorghum and 95% of sugarbeets.
