Surefire Ag Systems debuts its new Sentinel NH3 row monitor solution, which is ISOBUS compatible and can detect full or partial blockages on each row.

Jason Gahimer with Beck's Hybrids, explains the motivation and collaborative effort to design a multi-row width, multi-hybrid concept planter. Industry partners in the project included Beck's, Harvest International, Precision Planting, Yetter Mfg., SureFire Ag Systems and Schlipf Precision Ag.

According to the agreement, Great Plains will continue to design and build Nutri-Pro machines, while SureFire Ag will provide and install customized plumbing application systems for each machine.

The trend in fertilizer application today is to go larger to cover more acreage, provide more flexibility of applications and be more precise, according to manufacturers interviewed at the 2010 Farm Progress Show.
