The Plentywood workshop will start at 9 a.m. with registration, and the first presentation will begin at 9:30 a.m. The NRCS will have a rainfall simulator and discuss how to read and understand soil tests. Derek Axten, a no-tiller in Canada, will discuss the Clean Seed Project and Daniel Morris of Shelbourne Reynolds will talk about using stripper headers. Luke Diggins will also give a presentation on chemical carryover, and the workshop will conclude by 3:30 p.m. with a local producer panel.
Early registration for the workshop ends Oct. 26 and is $15.
