Event Description
No-till on the Plains is hosting a field day on Monday, Nov. 3 in Marion County, which will include field stops showing spring and fall cover crops, a soil pit contrasting long-term, continuous no-tilling and conventional tillage, as well as a session on no-till equipment adjustments and optimization.
Speakers include University of Nebraska Extension engineer Paul Jasa, soil scientists Greg Scott, Star Seed agronomist Dale Strickler, Sedgwick County producer Ryan Speer and Clay County producer Josh Lloyd.
