Farmers and other agriculture professionals will gather to share information and experiences while learning about all things soil health at the annual Wisconsin Cover Crop Conference.

Topics this year include maintaining soil health while managing manure, easy points of entry for beginning cover croppers, assessing soil health, using cover crops as an alternative forage, and soil health systems & extreme weather events.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Rick Clark, a fifth-generation farmer from Williamsport, Indiana, who will share how he’s transformed his 7,000-acre conventional farm to a regenerative system. His entire operation is farmed without starter fertilizer, seed treatment, fungicide, and insecticide. Wondering how he makes that work?
