The Andersons announced the launch of a new line of granular micronutrients branded as MicroMark DG, which feature dispersing granule (DG) technology.

Nutrient management decisions can become difficult when land tenure comes into play. With short-term land tenure, it doesn’t make sense to greatly increase soil test values if it will benefit another renter on the ground at a later date.

"One concern I have is that some growers treat their P and K like balancing a checkbook, trying to calculate what is taken off the field and putting that amount back on in fertilizer. In almost all cases, this type of accuracy is not needed for removal-based guidelines," says nutrient management specialist Dan Kaiser.
