Exapta Solutions announced a memorial fund has been set up in remembrance of Matt Hagny, CEO and president, who passed away recently during a rock climbing accident in Colorado.

Matt’s sister, Emilie Downs, has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made out to the Matthew Hagny No-till Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 952, Salina, KS 67402.

“Matt was passionate about learning and educating himself for the betterment of no-till seeding. He was a student of agriculture,” the company said in a statement. “This foundation will provide scholarship assistance for college students pursuing a degree in agriculture. We believe these investments in education will pay dividends in responsible, self-supporting, and contributing lives.

“We’ve been humbled by all the thoughts, prayers and support from our customers and friends. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.”
