BROOKFIELD, Wis. — With growing demand for detailed analysis and data on trends, influences and behaviors within the fast-changing farm equipment market, Lessiter Media has added Alex Zank for the newly-created position of Data Editor in its Ag Division.
Alex Zank
Zank will contribute to the print and digital growth of Ag Equipment Intelligence (AEI), researching and writing content for the publication’s newsletter, special reports and On the Record program. He will also assist in analysis and development of benchmark study reports across the ag division, and contribute into AEI’s new content offerings, including webinars, more frequent electronic updates as they occur and a new and more comprehensive stand-alone web presence for marketers and analysts.
The new position coincides with Lessiter Media’s increased emphasis on data, which included a significant investment in a unified audience database last year and the creation of the company’s TASER (Targeted Audience Segmentation, Engagement & Retargeting) advanced data platform.
“The demand for ‘data,’ particularly industry-specific data is growing every day. With its long-established relationships and reputation with the farm equipment sector of agriculture, Ag Equipment Intelligence is in a unique position to develop, compile and distribute data that the industry needs,” says Dave Kanicki, publisher of AEI. “Adding Alex to our editorial staff will allow us to dig deeper and expand the information and services we can offer to our subscribers.”
Zank is a graduate of the University if of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, with degrees in journalism and political science, with a minor in economics. He has spent the last 4 years covering a variety of business topics for several niche publications.
