Although herbicide-resistant weeds, and the chemicals used to fight them, have been making national headlines recently, no-tillers must continue their quest to protect crops and yields by making well-informed choices about products to apply.
Many companies released new herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and seed treatments in 2017 and are ready to roll out more options for 2018. These include products that address the continuing battle against herbicide-resistant weeds, insecticides that target corn rootworm and seed treatments for soybeans and cereal crops.

EPA registration for Authority Supreme herbicide from FMC is expected for soybeans, sunflowers and dry peas in time for the 2018 growing season.
Authority Supreme pre-emergence herbicide provides two effective modes of action to control the toughest resistant weeds in soybeans.
The combination of a PPO herbicide with the newest Class 15 molecule provides growers long-lasting residual control of waterhemp, Palmer pigweed, kochia and lambsquarters, as well as several grassy weeds.
