While many scientific studies have been done that quantify environmental benefits of cover crops, there just isn’t the same research regarding the economic benefits. 

Practical Farmers of Iowa and Iowa State University have developed an online survey to address this by quantifying the return on investment of cover crops.

The survey is open to farmers in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
