BASF introduced Zidua PRO (Premium Residual Option) broad-spectrum herbicide for soybean growers.
With the active ingredients saflufenacil, imazethapyr and pyroxasulfone, Zidua PRO controls several weeds, including Palmer amaranth and other pigweeds, kochia, lambsquarters, morningglory and waterhemp among others. It provides up to 14 days longer residual control than group 15 herbicides when applied at the full rate.
Zidua PRO is offered in a single, premix formulation and has a zero-day planting interval on most soil types. The product label contains details on each soil type.
Receiving EPA registration earlier this year, the herbicide is now on the market and available for purchase.
