I haven't planted any cover crops this fall. I raise milo and it is too late normally to follow up after milo with any thing. I graze the stocks with a cow calf herd. I did plant a summer cover crop after wheat harvest in three fields and grazed all three. One field I used winter wheat, wheat oats and winter barley. What didn't die this summer should live through the winter. I inoculated the cover with AMF. I will direct seed a spring mix into early March for late spring grazing. I am attempting to keep a living root in a field for three years and discover if it is possible to keep a AMF colony living for the time period.
