New Holland Ag Buys Miller Sprayers

CNH Industrial, the parent of farm-equipment brands Case IH and New Holland, has purchased the assets of Miller-St. Nazianz, a leading maker of precision sprayers and Ag-Bag silage packaging and storage solutions.

Based in St. Nazianz, Wis., Miller — which employs 260 people — will become part of New Holland Agriculture. The deal is expected to close this year.

Founded in 1899 as a hardware retailer, Miller grew through five generations of family management and had been partnering with New Holland for 4 years.

“Miller’s products — especially the best-in-class front boom self-propelled sprayer — have been a positive addition to our crop-production offering and we intend to further innovate and develop this important product line in the years to come,” said Abe Hughes, vice president of New Holland-North America, in a letter to equipment dealers.
