Meet the Speaker
Wayne Sledge
Founder and President of Cultivace
Wayne Sledge is president and founder of Cultivace, a West Coast-based fertilizer manufacturer. Wayne has over 50 years of experience in the field of agriculture and began his career as a grower. He eventually transitioned to fertilizer sales and was quickly promoted up the chain, managing several locations along the way. In the early 2000s, Wayne created his own company driven by two fundamental principles: "Our products must be of the highest quality, and they must make the grower money. If a product can't meet those standards, we don't manufacture it." From its humble beginnings, Cultivace products are now available nationwide, and through our partner companies, hundreds of thousands of acres are treated with Cultivace products every year. Amidst all the growth, Wayne and every Cultivace employee stay dedicated to the original company mission, whether working with a large fertilizer dealer or a singular grower.
