The Bayer Carbon Program is expanding eligibility and adding more opportunities for U.S. growers to get paid for adopting practices like no-till and cover crops that can help support soil health. Farmers who have already adopted no-till and other regenerative farming practices are also eligible for payments.

In response to a quote from climate & environmental scientist Jonathan Foley about agriculture’s massive contribution to climate change, Twitter user Ruth Stewart cited an Oklahoma newspaper clipping about the success of no-till in a year where many traditional farmers suffered.
last year Oklahoma had the worse wheat crop since 1917 - the only farmer that had 'winter wheat the size of a fat crayon' was a no-till farm.
