Innovative Cover Crop Tools to Implement on Your Farm

National Cover Crop Summit features several no-tillers & focuses on cover crop trends, combating drought with covers & more

The 2024 National Cover Crop Summit, a virtual event hosted by No-Till Farmer sister publication Cover Crop Strategies, is scheduled for March 12-14. It will feature 7 sessions packed with practical tips to help no-tillers improve the use of cover crops on their farm operations and learn about efficient cover crop strategies and management practices

Attendees may watch the 7 pre-recorded presentations for free throughout the 3-day event. The paid VIP registration grants access to the presentation for a full 12 months starting March 12, 2024, plus more than 40 bonus sessions from previous years of the National Cover Crop Summit. Other benefits that paid registrants will receive include four cover crop reports from Cover Crop Strategies, a $50 discount on registration to the upcoming National Strip-Tillage Conference and a 1-year subscription to No-Till Farmer Magazine.

From Dirt to Soil

Matt Burkholder, a grower in Allen County, Ohio, will detail his experience with no-till, cover crops and other regenerative agriculture practices. He evaluated soil health test data of side-by-side fields, one using rotational tillage vs. aggressive regenerative ag practices. In his presentation, Burkholder explains why the tillage practices have a direct effect on the structure of the two different soil samples.
