This 26-minute video presentation by Dr. Warren Dick (retired, Ohio State University) from the 2020 Conservation Tillage & Technology Conference, examines the pioneering research that has taken place at Ohio State University since 1962. OSU's Triplett-Van Doren No-Tillage Research Plots (named for No-Till Farmer Legends Glover Triplett and the late Dave Van Doren) are the world’s longest continuously no-tilled research plots in existence. In addition to an overview of the origins of no-till and the OSU plots, Dick provides an overview of some of the key long-term results that continue to demonstrate no-tillage’s benefits today.
