Dogfishead, Patagonia Put Kernza in a Can (Or Bottle)
In early February, No-Till Farmer published “Deep-Rooted Kernza Shows Promise.” The lager enthusiasts out there will find another reason to “root” for the crop, the new Kernza Pils from Dogfish Head Brewery. Regenerative ag champion Patagonia (through its Patagonia Provisions division) is heavily promoting this new brew as well as kernza and the regenerative/no-till practice. This new “quick-sip” video claims that with each can consumed, the brewery will commit to planting more kernza for a healthier climate.
How to Operate a No-Till Legend
In this year’s search to mark the 60th anniversary of commercial no-tillage, we uncovered this narrated training slideshow on the first commercially successful planter for no-tillage. The Allis-Chalmers No-Til fluted coulter planting system was released in the late 1960s based on concepts seen on the pioneering Harry Young farm in Kentucky. No-till planters — and video production technology have come a long way in 50 years.
Cover Crops and Conventional In Four Pictures
This tweet is a bit older, but it deftly captures the difference between cover cropped and conventionally tilled soils. Crop on, @woody_VA!
I get it. Not everyone is comfortable planting into green cover crops but I like what is. Cover crops keeping the soil covered and roots holding it together. Samples of soil from just a few feet apart pic.twitter.com/h7OxAOvwxI

Farming Games Offer Two Substantive Updates
Farming is hard work. At the end of a long day of farming, it’s nice to kick back, relax, and just play some video games … about farming, of course. What better way to unwind from driving a real tractor than driving a virtual tractor? Farming Simulator 22 has just updated its content to include precision farming. You can now look at a heat map of your virtual farm, and perform variable rate manure and lime spreading, as well as soil test. And if you’d rather just watch other virtual workers do the work you’ve just done, Farm Manager 22 has just debuted on the Xbox Live store. Happy gaming!

Make Spraying Fun!
Today's complex chemical mixtures usually have a combination of bulk, jugs, and dry products. The high value products usually come in small packages. Mixmate is the only system designed to measure and process these products quickly. Jugs are processed in about 12 seconds. The Mixmate Fusion has a high flow rate rinsing system to ease dry product measurement and induction. This makes mixing on demand a breeze!
