No-tilling 3,000 acres of corn, soybeans and wheat, Mike Starkey does several on farm research projects annually to better improve his no-till practices. The Brownsburg, Ind., no-tiller feels the best data is that which is gathered on your own farm, particularly with less research into no-till being conducted overall at the university level.

Starkey will share what he’s learned through on farm research regarding nitrogen application rates; gypsum applications; cover crops; foliar feeding on soybeans; and non-glyphosate herbicide applications on his Roundup Ready soybeans. In addition, Starkey will share the recent changes he made to his no-till planter.
