The Conservation Tillage Conference will send attendees home with hands-on, how-to information in nearly every aspect of conservation tillage. Speakers include John Heard, soil fertility extension specialist for Manitoba Agriculture; Ray Archuleta, NRCS conservation agronomist; Charlie Hammer, Wisconsin strip-tiller; Mark Hanna, Iowa State University Extension ag engineer; Fabian Fernandez, University of Minnesota Extension and more. Topics covered include planter closing wheels, nutrient placement and soil sampling correctly in conservation tillage systems, soil health, soil erosion, 5-year herbicide plan and more.

The conference takes place on Dec. 15-16 at the Best Western Plus in Willmar, Minn. Early bird fee is $125 for the full conference. After Dec. 1, the cost will increase to $155.
