Event Description
Join us for a Soil Health Field Day featuring Ray Archuleta, former NRCS Soil Health specialist; Shawn Tiffany, farmer/rancher from Herrington, Kansas; and Lance Gunderson from Ward Labs. The day will include tours of cover crop plots, demonstrations, displays, and a hearty lunch. There is no cost to attend but you must register for lunch by August 18th by contacting Howard at 620-727-6546 or cheneylakewatershed@gmail.com. Sponsors include Cheney Lake Watershed, the Reno County Conservation District, and Kauffman Seeds.
