Grower Nominations Sought for 15th Class of Conservation Ag Stewardship Program

No-Till Farmer is looking to recognize its 15th class of no-tillers deemed to be effective, efficient, and responsible with their farm practices.

No-Till Farmer is currently seeking nominations of no-tillers and strip-tillers for the 15th class of the Conservation Ag Stewardship Program. Three growers will be awarded and recognized during the 31st annual National No-Tillage Conference in St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 10-13, 2023.

Study: No-Till Means Less Nitrous Oxide in the Atmosphere

The study took samples from three different types of long-term tillage systems: no-till, chisel-disk plowing, and moldboard plowing, which researchers defined as low, medium and high disturbance. They also collected samples from both corn and soybeans, as well as samples collected at different growth stages in each plant.
