The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Assistant Administrator for Water Radhika Fox released April 5 a new policy memorandum on Accelerating Nutrient Pollution Reductions in the Nation's Waters. This memo reaffirms EPA's commitment to working with others, including the agriculture community, to advance progress in reducing excess nutrients in the nation's waters.

Interest in agricultural carbon markets and carbon credit trading has everyone from producers to policymakers asking questions about what lies ahead. To help answer questions, a Farm Foundation webinar will air April 12 called “Solving the Barriers to Agricultural Carbon Markets.”
