CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE: CNHI/MI: CNHI) has announced its agreement to acquire ATI Inc., a global manufacturer of rubber track systems for high horsepower tractors and combines.

New Holland Agriculture will expand its offering with new implement product lines as a result of CNH Industrial’s agreement to acquire the agricultural Grass and Soil business of Kongskilde Industries.

Phil Needham with Needham Ag Technologies LLC talks about some of the new products they've released getting the most attention at events. First is the smooth internal seed tube that fits on most box drills. The seed tube has several baffles on the inside so seeds flow down the tube more consistently. They're also getting some attention on their new angle changer/coupler for several models of Case IH and New Holland seeders.

The U.S. Enviornmental Protection Agency and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers jointly released a proposed rule earlier this year to clarify protection for streams and wetlands under the Clean Water Act.
