There’s a lot of technology on Doug Martin’s farm that helps the Mount Pulaski, Ill., strip-tiller manage continuous corn and acres rotated between corn and soybeans. Martin will share how he uses auto-steer, swath control and other precision applications to improve cropping yields and the bottom line.

In addition, Martin will discuss how he uses variable-rate technology for lime and dry fertilizer applications, and Apex software for mapping and prescriptions. And while he has not added auto-steer or swath control on his sprayer, he will talk about plans for the future and the expected payoff for adding precision tools to his spraying operations.
