Monosem Planter Pro Wheel Option
A new option for 2013 on Monosem planters is the Pro Wheel – a large-diameter, 12-inch aluminum press wheel with a stainless-steel edge. The wheel is positioned directly behind the seed tube ahead of the V rear press wheels and limits seed movement after the seed exits the seed tube. The Pro Wheel’s rolling motion and flat surface gently presses the seed into the trench for improved seed-to-soil contact, optimal germination and consistent plant emergence. The Pro Wheel’s flat surface also reduces sidewall compaction by breaking down the V trench. Standard features include a wheel scraper and lockup for adverse conditions.
Amity Technology Single Disc Drill
The Single Disc Drill from Amity Technology is the first totally new seeding concept in generations! Patented opposing single discs seed into a variety of residue situations with virtually no sidewall compaction and minimal hairpinning. The seeding depth and down pressure can be adjusted on-the-go from the tractor seat for precision depth control and seed placement. Mid-row fertilizer placement with no change to the seeding configuration is optional. Place liquid or dry nitrogen with equal effectiveness. The Single Disc Drill is available in 30-, 40-, 50- and 60-foot models with 6/9-inch pair-row spacing for wheat and barley and various spacing options for soybeans.
Truax “On The Go” Grain Drill
The new Truax “On The Go” series grain and grass drill saves you time in the field and keeps you out of the maintenance shop. You can go from tilled conditions to no-till with the flick of a hydraulic lever. Wrenches are no longer needed to change from one mode to the other. Double-row bearings on planter discs provide longer bearing life and reduced maintenance. An easy-access calibration nut lets you quickly determine your seeding rate, saving calibration time and reducing seed costs. ETS 5060 SeedWarrior®
The new ETS 5060 SeedWarrior® gives unprecedented planting control by combining the sub-inch accuracy of precision guidance with a true high-volume, integrated planter for accurate seed and fertilizer placement. With a new implement steering technology, this precision-guided planter maximizes yield potential on each acre. The patented 60-foot folding toolbar articulates for an incredibly compact fold and transport position. The cart offers 600 series dual tires, hauling up to 150 bags of seed (7,500 pounds) and 1,250 gallons of liquid fertilizer with air controlled shutoff valves on each row unit. The central-fill system loads dual steel seed tanks with an exclusive rapid clean-out system.
