The first soil health workshop hosted by the Soil & Water Conservation Districts of Montana and the NRCS will be held on Nov. 2 in Missoula, Mont. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop kicks off at 9 a.m. with North Dakota no-tiller Gabe Brown covering "The Building Blocks of Soil Health." Canadian grazer Neil Dennis will follow with a presentation on "Grazing for Soil Health." After lunch, Brown will present "Designing Cover Crop Mixes/Livestock Integration." The workshop will conclude with a Q&A session with Brown and Dennis.
Early registration for the workshop ends Oct. 26 and is $15.
