Event Description
The second annual Seeds Over East Central Illinois Cover Crop Expo will be held on Friday at the Paxton Airport. The event will showcase the latest cover crop application methods, including an aerial demonstration.
Several vendors will be available to talk with attendees about their equipment and application methods, including ProHarvest Seeds, Heritage FS, Mills Ag Service, Schertz Aerial, LaCrosse Seeds, Zumwalt Aviation and Saddle Butte AG.
A local farmer panel will be available to answer questions and discuss their experiences. University of Illinois crop system expert Russ Higgins will give a presentation on cover crops and weed control.
