Event Description
Join us for the Ohio No-Till Field Day will be August 29. Hosted by Nathan Brause of Sunny Slopes Farms, in rural Bucyrus, Ohio.
Our featured speaker is Rick Clark an Indiana farmer. He will be sharing how his 7000 acre farm has changed to regenerative farming with no-till and cover crops. Rick was the keynote speaker at the National No-Tillage Conference this past January. He will also share specific tips and tricks to how his family raises their cattle, corn, soybeans, wheat and alfalfa with minimum (or no) applications of pesticides and fungicides.
Other key topics of the day will include weed management, fertility, cover crop selection, soil pits, planter set up demonstrations, and new technology.
A catered lunch and ice cream are included. PLUS lots of time to talk to the other farmers and discuss options for your farm.
Students are $25. Early Bird tickets (before Aug 22) are $50. Walk in at the event is $75.
