No-Till Legend Dwayne Beck joins technology editor Noah Newman for a conversation about his upcoming National No-Tillage Conference presentation, “Learning from the Past to Move No-Till Forward.”

When Dwayne Beck spoke at the inaugural National No-Tillage Conference in Indianapolis in 1993, he told the audience, “You folks in the eastern Corn Belt no-till to get rid of the water. In South Dakota, we no-till to capture every rain drop we can.” In the decades since, the No-Till Innovator and Legend from Pierre, S.D., has provided no-tillers with highly practical and profitable ideas as farm manager at the Dakota Lakes Research Farm. Beck will share observations from a quarter-century of research studies, examine the true cost of erosion and discuss how you can sustain long-term profitability.
